LATEST NEWS... last updated 9th August 2010

Dates for 2011

Make a note in your diaries now for 2011 - the festival will take place over the weekend 10th, 11th and 12th June.  Line-up information will be posted here as it becomes available.
Due to financial constraints, we are having to raise the ticket prices substantially this year, to £45 advance adult, £40 advance concessionary and £20 advance child.  Those of you who have been before know that this still represents fabulous value for money.  We hope to be able to keep camping costs at a similar level to 2010, and will let you know details when our campsite confirms prices.  Tickets for the 2011 festival will go on sale in January.

If you're on Facebook, join the
festival group, where you can post your photos, which we'd love to see. You can also be one of the first to hear news about the festival's line-up, with notifications about ticket and camping availability, musicians appearing, etc.

AND IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN BEFORE...

Gower Folk Festival is unique, taking place in the intimate setting of the Heritage Centre's covered courtyard, surrounded by the craft shops and working water and woollen mill.  Stunning music, the scenery of Gower and a real ale bar!  The atmosphere is legendary, both audience and performer are members of an exclusive musical party taking place in a very special location, the Gower peninsula.  Tickets are limited to just over 300, so you'll soon get to know everyone.  Many people like to start the day with a walk down from the campsite and across the beach, before strolling up Three Cliffs valley to the festival site.  This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with sandy beaches, ruined castles and wild ponies, all within walking distance of the festival.
