LATEST NEWS... last updated 5th February 2012 New Addition to programme: We're really pleasedto announce that The Old Dance School will be finishing up the Sunday afternoon concerts :-))
TICKET SALES NOW OPEN Hi everyone, Great news, we've managed to hold our ticket prices at the same level as 2011. There's a small increase in the cost of camping for some though.
The line-up for 2012 is very nearly complete, just waiting on a couple of contracts. And it's looking really exciting... The website is still not fully updated, but the prices and booking details are correct, so you can now download the form and send it to Joy with a cheque. I hope to organise online payments shortly for those without a chequebook!

Thanks to Menter Iaith...in Swansea, who supply our translations for us. They are funded by the Assembly and particularly support small groups as they try to be bilingual... If you're on Facebook, join the festival group, where you can post your photos, which we'd love to see. You can also be one of the first to hear news about the festival, with notificationsabout ticket and camping availability, workshops, musicians, etc. You can also follow #@GowerFolkFest on Twitter
AND IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN BEFORE...
Gower Folk Festival is unique, taking place in the intimate setting of the Heritage Centre's covered
courtyard, surrounded by the craft shops and working water and woollen
mill. Stunning music, the scenery of Gower and a real ale bar! The atmosphere is legendary, both audience and performer are members of an exclusive musical
party taking place in a very special location, the Gower peninsula. Tickets are limited to about 350, so you'll soon get to know everyone. Many people like to start the day with a walk down from the campsite and across the beach, before strolling up Three Cliffs valley to the festival site. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with sandy beaches,
ruined castles and wild ponies, all within walking distance of the
festival.
