PUBLIC TRANSPORT Parkmill village is 8 miles west of Swansea on the A4118 (South Gower road). Buses run from Swansea city centre every couple of hours, although not in the evening. However, Pennard has a good hourly service and is less than a mile away. This website has timetables and route maps for the whole of Gower. Remember that our festival bus can always take you back to the city centre when the music stops playing!
BY ROAD: FROM SWANSEA BAY / M4 JUNCTION 42
Take the A483 to Swansea and continue round the bay towards the Mumbles. Follow the brown signs to South Gower and turn right on the B4436. Keep on this road approx 4 miles (through the little village of Kittle). Take the next road to the right signed the Gower Heritage Centre. Go left at the next T-junction; the Centre is about a mile further down this road on the right. (13 miles from M4)
BY ROAD: FROM M4 JUNCTION 47 SWANSEA WEST Please note: this route is not for caravans. Take the 2nd exit (A483) off the motorway. At the next roundabout, take 2nd exit (A484); at the third roundabout, take 2nd exit (A484 again); at the 4th roundabout, take the first exit onto the B4296. At the traffic lights in Gowerton, turn right onto the B4295. Go straight on at traffic lights and then first left - the road is called Cefn Stylle and is very narrow in places. Carry on for about 3 miles until you reach village of Three Crosses, with a pub called The Poundffald on your right. Turn right IMMEDIATELY after the pub - This is a dangerous bend! At the T junction about half a mile further on, turn right and follow this road for about one and a half miles until you see a brick bus shelter on your left. Turn left immediately before this onto the little road to Lunnon village. Follow this (round right-angled bends) down a very steep narrow hill into the village of Parkmill. The Heritage Centre is about 100 yards to the right.
BY ROAD: FROM CENTRAL / NORTH SWANSEA
Take the A4118 to Upper Killay and Fairwood Common. Carry on past the airport till you get to Parkmill. The Gower Heritage Centre is on your right at Shepherds Shop.
